About the role
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you're at the heart of every accurate diagnosis we deliver. You'll run and validate assays across chemistry, hematology, and immunology on automated analyzers — owning quality control for your bench, flagging anything that doesn't look right, and keeping turnaround tight without ever trading away accuracy.
You'll work alongside phlebotomists, technologists, and consultant pathologists in an EIAC-accredited (ISO 15189:2022) lab where careful work is the standard and every result is treated as someone's peace of mind.
What you'll do
Perform, validate, and troubleshoot routine and specialised assays across multiple disciplines.
Own daily quality control for your bench — run QC, review results, and act on deviations.
Maintain, calibrate, and monitor analyzers, escalating faults before they affect results.
Handle samples with correct identification, barcoding, and traceability from receipt to report.
Flag critical values promptly and support consultants through the verification workflow.
Keep accurate records and support internal audits and accreditation requirements.
What you'll bring
A valid DHA licence as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (or eligibility to obtain one).
A Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a related field.
At least 3 years' hands-on experience on automated analyzers in an accredited lab.
A strong grasp of QC, biosafety, and good laboratory practice.
Care, precision, and a calm head when the workload is high.
